Christopher Martin Leyden

Christopher Martin Leyden, 45, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, died Saturday, August 18, 2018. His funeral service will be held Saturday, August 25, 2018 in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road at 11:00 am. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends Friday, August 24, 2018 in the Mount Pleasant Chapel from 6:00 until 8:00 pm.

Chris was born July 3, 1973 in New York City, New York, son of Martin Joseph Leyden and Margaret Mary McQuade Leyden. He graduated from River Dell High School in Oradell, New Jersey and worked for International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 94 as an engineer in New York City. He enjoyed football and was a Pittsburgh Steelers Fan.

He is survived by his daughter, Lindsay Leyden of Freehold, NJ; parents, Marty and Margaret of Mt. Pleasant, SC; two sisters, Colleen Gibbs (William) of Cary, NC and Donna Leyden of Cary, NC; brother, Brian Leyden of Mt. Pleasant, SC; nephew, Nicholas Kahermanes and many aunts and uncles.
