Christine Amelia Szydlowski

Christine Amelia Szydlowski, 87, of Goose Creek, SC, died Thursday, October 15, 2015. Her funeral service will be held Sunday, October 18, 2015 in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road at 2:00 pm. Interment, Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Saturday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in Stuhr's Northwoods Chapel.

Christine was born May 20, 1928 in Rome, GA, daughter of the late Noble Drennon and the late Flora Martin Drennon. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She is survived by her daughter, Monica Wood and her husband James of Goose Creek, SC; sister, Artie Dale of Hanahan, SC; two brothers, Bobby Drennon of North Charleston, SC and Malcom Drennon of Summerville, SC; three grandchildren, Christopher Mims of Moncks Corner, SC, Crystal Gaydon of Hendersonville, SC and James M. Wood Jr. of Goose Creek, SC; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Walter Szydlowski.
