Christine Tamara Iler Crockett, 41, of North Charleston, SC entered eternal life on June 17, 2021. Christine was born April 28, 1980; daughter of Charles Iler and Jeanene Speas Griffin, widow of the late David Ray Crockett. In addition to her husband, Christine was predeceased by her infant son Anthony Joseph Crockett and her grandmother Iris Covington Iler. Surviving to mourn her loss include her children: Tamara Nicole Iler, Michael Crockett, Alexis Crockett, step-son Dorian Crocket; her parents, grandfather Charles R. Iler, brothers Charles and Robert Iler and sister Taryn Iler , step-mother Melonee "Christi" Iler, beloved aunts, uncles and numerous cousins as well as countless friends.
Is it so hard to say goodbye to such a beautiful heart; Christine will be sorely missed. As family and friends reflect on their memories, tears and the sound of laughter fill the room. A special soul, Christine touched so many people in her short time on this earth. A proud Army wife, she lived in Wahiawa, Hawaii and Vilseck, Germany before returning to Charleston, SC. She embraced the adventure, and no matter what challenges she faced, she remained a loyal friend and devoted mother.
Now that Christine's mind and body are finally at rest, those still on the journey may have flashes where the simplest moment in time will bring her to the forefront of our minds and we will smile, and maybe shed a tear.
Loved by so many, Christine will live on-- through photos and stories about the mother, daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin, and friend. We will hold on to the special place she created for each and every one of us.
