Cheryl Mendele Ogle

Cheryl Mendele Ogle, 75, of Charleston, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Saturday, January 4, 2025. 

Cheryl was born June 19, 1949 in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of the late Mendel and Bernice Benton. She was a lifelong animal lover and a joy to anyone who met her. Most of her career was spent helping women and families obtain medical care through the state of SC.

She is survived by daughter, Brandy Lynn Ogle of Charleston, SC; her granddog Red Rover, and cats Sammy, Midnight, and Pekas.

She was preceded in death by brother, Simmie Stivender of Huntsville, TX as well as countless animals she has loved and cared for.

Memorials may be made to the Charleston Animal Society or other local shelter of your choice.
