Charlie Brown

Charlie Brown, 72, of Hanahan, SC, entered into eternal rest Monday, June 16, 2014. His funeral service will be held Thursday, June 19, 2014, in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road, at 2:00 pm. The family will receive friends Thursday from 1:00 pm until time of the service in Stuhr's Northwoods Chapel.

Charlie was born February 1, 1942 in Charleston, SC, son of the late Charlie M. Brown and the late Bessie Brinson Brown. He was a retired heavy equipment operator.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Johnson Brown of Hanahan, SC; son, James Michael Brown and his wife, Tina, of Summerville, SC; daughter, Melinda Brown of Warsaw, NC; brothers: John Brown and Allen Brown, both of Cottageville, SC, Jack Brown of North Charleston, SC and Vernon Brown of IL; sisters: Cora Lee Godfroy and Louise Williams, both of North Charleston, SC, Tresie Mae of Sumter, SC, Warnetta Lyles of North Charleston, SC, Linda Brown of Summerville, SC and Violet Wright of Round O, SC; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
