Charles Martin Woodward, 85, of Summerville, South Carolina, husband of Janice Buckheister Woodward entered into eternal rest Thursday, March 26, 2026. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. West Ashley Chapel.

Born on November 11, 1940, in Lexington, Kentucky, Charles was the son of the late Herman Woodward and the late Elizabeth Helphenstein Woodward. He built a meaningful career in Human Resources, where he was known for his integrity, compassion, and ability to connect with others. His work reflected his genuine care for people and his thoughtful approach to every situation.

Charles treasured his family above all else. He is survived by his loving wife, Janice Woodward, his daughter, Jennifer Riddick (John), who will forever cherish his guidance, support, and unwavering love. He is also survived by his doting grandsons, Rickey Hicks, Austin Woodward and Mason Woodward.

In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his son, Rick Woodward.

Those who knew Charles will remember him for his steady presence, his warm heart, and the quiet way he made others feel valued and understood. His memory will live on in the lives of those he touched.
