Charles Plowden Scott

Charles Plowden Scott, 63, of Charleston, South Carolina, husband of Marilyn Price Scott entered into eternal rest Thursday, December 1, 2016. His Funeral Service will be held Sunday, December 4, 2016 in Pinecrest Baptist Church, 1285 Ashley Hall Road at 3:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Saturday in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Charles was born January 8, 1953 in Warner Robins, Georgia, son of the late Charles Maxwell Scott, Jr. and Frances Marian Plowden Scott. He retired from Frito-Lay in 1994. Charles was a member of Pinecrest Baptist Church. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Marilyn Scott of Charleston, SC; two sons, Christopher Plowden Scott of Charleston, SC, Ryan Alfred Scott of Summerville, SC; daughter, Amy Scott Kinard from Charleston, SC; sister, Frances Susan Scott of Charleston, SC; four grandchildren.
