Charles Richard Price

Charles Richard Price, Jr., 68, of Awendaw, South Carolina, husband of Carolyn Law Price entered into eternal rest Thursday, November 23, 2017. His Funeral Service will be held Sunday, November 26, 2017 in The Church at LifePark, 1151 George Browder Blvd., Mt. Pleasant, at 3:00 pm. The family will receive friends at the church immediately following the service. Arrangements by J.HENRY STUHR, INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL.

Charlie was born August 3, 1949 in Seattle, Washington, son of the late Charles Richard Price Sr. and Mary George Price. He was a graduate of the University of Nebraska, and served in the United States Air Force. He was CEO and custom builder of New South Construction. He was a member of The Church at LifePark, where he served as an elder in charge of Missions. He was a member of the Bull's Bay Golf Course, as well as the Gamecock Club.

He is survived by his wife; his daughters, Jennifer Price Thrift (Wes) of Huger, SC, Alison Price Smith (Toby) of Moncks Corner, SC, and Lauren Price King (Bobby), also of Moncks Corner; seven grandchildren, Kristen King, Caroline and Camden Thomas, Allen and Alex Smith, and Jenna and Noah Thrift; his brother, Frank Ira Price (Carolyn) of Summerville, SC; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Jeremy Thomas.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Acts 1:8 Fund at The Church at LifePark, or the Lifepark Building Fund, both at 1151 George Browder Blvd, Mt. Pleasant, SC 29466.
