Charles Wayne Norman, 81, of Eutawville, South Carolina, husband of Cynthia Diane Huggins Norman entered into eternal rest Friday, October 9, 2026. His Graveside Service will be held Thursday, October 15, 2026 at the Live Oak Memorial Gardens, 3093 Ashley River Road at 1:00 pm.
Charles Norman, born December 10, 1944, in Florence County, South Carolina, was the beloved son of the late R.A. Norman and the late Ocie Mae Flowers.
Charles proudly served his country in the United States Army in 101st Airborne Division at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Following his military service, he built a career as a machine operator and later retired after 35 years from General Electric. He was also an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed spending time in nature and appreciating the beauty of the outdoors.
Charles will be remembered for his life, his service to his country, and the memories he shared with his family and loved ones.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Cynthia Diane Huggins Norman; three sisters-in-law, Janet (John) Wyndham, Paula (Paul) Yancy, and Dianna Thompkins; and several nieces and nephews who will cherish his memory.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents, R.A. Norman and Ocie Mae Flowers.
His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
