Charles Harold McDonald, 72, of Charleston, SC, husband of Sharon Smith McDonald entered into eternal rest Tuesday, June 9, 2015. His Funeral Service will be held Saturday, June 13, 2015 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends in Stuhr's West Ashley Chapel Friday, June 12, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Harold was born April 27, 1943 in Charleston, SC, son of the late Wallace Lucious McDonald and Wilma Davis McDonald. He was an Automobile Salesman. He was in the Army Reserve and also a member of the American Legion.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon McDonald of Charleston, SC, two daughters, Michelle McDonald (Martin) Bailey of Charlotte, NC, and Heidi McDonald (Jonathan) Blanton of Charleston, SC; son, Kenneth Gaines (Julie) McDonald of Charleston, SC; brother, W. Leander (Maxine) McDonald of Hanahan, SC; two sisters, Priscilla McDonald (Leroy) Grimsley of Hanahan, SC, and Connie McDonald (Bill) Sloan of St. Johns, FL; three grandsons, Justin Gaines McDonald, Rhett Charles Blanton, Cody Lee Blanton, granddaughter Meghan Nicole Bailey, and many nieces and nephews.
