Charles "Chip" Henry Mark

Charles "Chip" Henry Mark, Jr., 65, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, husband of Beth Ellen Mark, died Monday, August 24, 2015. His memorial service will be held Saturday, October 10, 2015 in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Mount Pleasant Chapel, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road, at 2:00 p.m.
Chip was born March 18, 1950 in Chillicothe, Ohio, son of the late Charles Henry Mark, Sr. and the late Martha Brewer Wakefield and L. James Wakefield. He graduated from Frankfort High School while living in Frankfort, Indiana. Chip obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree in Manufacturing Design Technology from Indiana State University, where he was a member of the Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity. Chip was also a member of the Charleston National Golf Club where he was an avid golfer. He enjoyed fishing and boating and was a retired Senior Manufacturing Design Engineer.
In addition to his beloved wife, Beth Ellen Mark, he is survived by his son, Chad Tyler Mark; brother, Fritz Mark; nephew, Drew (Tiffany); nieces Gwen Bolin (Brooke) and Amber Froberg (Brandon); sister, Sherry Kimble (Gary); sister-in-law, Marla Fields (Judy Stewart); and many beloved cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
