Charles E. Lloyd

Chuck went to be home with the Lord on Thursday, January 3rd, 2013 after a ten (10) year long and valiant battle with Glioblastoma. A Celebration of Chuck's Life will be held Sunday, January 6, 2013 in the J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road at 4:30 pm. The family will receive friends Sunday immediately following the service.

Chuck was an Honor Graduate of Hanahan High School, Class of 1987. He went on to Emory University and College of Charleston. Chuck was an avid reader who loved books and learning. Chuck moved to Atlanta and worked for his wonderful employer Barnes and Noble in Buckhead. They were compassionate and worked with him throughout his illness.

Chuck is survived by his parents, Charles and Judy Lloyd, Hanahan, SC; his brother, Danny (Michelle) Lloyd; and his beloved nephews, Daniel and Drew Lloyd all of Hanahan, SC; and his grandmother, Laveta E. Howell of Summerville, SC and the late George N. Howell. He is also survived by his loyal and faithful companion, "Spike" a rescue Yorkshire terrier.
