Charles Levitt, Jr., 77, of Ravenel, South Carolina, husband of Sharon Evon Frierson Levitt, met his Heavenly reward on Saturday, August 9, 2025. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 15, 2025 in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. West Ashley Chapel from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm. His funeral service will be held Saturday, August 16, 2025 in the West Ashley Chapel beginning at 1:00 pm, and burial will follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens.

Charles was born October 18, 1947 in Asheville, North Carolina, son of the late Charles Levitt, Sr. and Ettie Price Levitt. Charles enjoyed fishing, working on cars, and going to antique car shows. He loved his wife, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, but most of all, he loved Jesus. He was passionate about preaching, and he took pastoring seriously. He had a pastors heart. He touched the lives of everyone he came in contact with. We could talk about those stories forever, and still never tell them all. "He was a true man of God."

In addition to his wife, Charles is survived by eight children, Wesley (Alison) Levitt, Shawn (Sally) Levitt, Heather (Mike) Levitt-Sutton, Jennifer (Ernie) Haskins, Jonathan (Tara) Levitt, Samantha (Timothy) Longshore, Naomi (Lorenzo) Swann, and Zachary (Kylee) Levitt; 16 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
