Entered into eternal rest Thursday, March 10, 2011 in Orange Park, Florida, Charles E. Infinger, 83, widower of Mary Huff Infinger. He was a former resident of North Charleston. The Funeral Services for Mr. Infinger will be in J. HENRY STUHR NORTH AREA CHAPEL, 2119 Dorchester Road, N. Charleston, March 14, 2011 at 12:00 noon. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Stuhr's North Area Chapel for two hours prior to the service. Charles was born February 26, 1928 in Charleston, SC, son of the late Daniel Nathaniel Infinger and Mable Etling Infinger. At the death of his father he quit school to help run the family business. He retired from Chitwood Transportation and Moving and was a member of First Southern Methodist Church of North Charleston. Charles was also a member of the Elks Lodge and a life member of Hammerton Masonic Lodge #332 A.F.M. He is survived by 2 daughters: Charlene I. Williamson and her husband, Gary of Orange Park, FL and Faith I. Brown and her husband Barry of Kingsland, GA; 3 sisters: Dorothy I. Williams of Pasadena, MD, Betty I. Murray of Pinapolis, SC and Nancy I. Wooldridge of North Charleston, SC; a brother: Donald L. Infinger of Tall Pines, SC: 4 grandchildren: Robert Charles Williamson of Tallahassee, FL, LCPT. Michael Andrew Williamson of Hawaii, and Blair A. Brown and Amber L. Brown both of Kingsland, GA. Mr. Infinger was preceded in death by 2 sisters; Grace I. Smith and Melissa I. Parnell; 3 brothers: D.N. "Buster" Infinger, Jr., Freddie W. Infinger and Richard R. Infinger.
