Charles Milton Ilderton

Charles Milton Ilderton of Charleston, SC, entered into eternal rest. The relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial service Thursday at 2:00 pm June 23, 2011 in Calvary Baptist Church.  Friends may call one hour prior to the service.   

Mr. Ilderton was born February 26, 1939, the son of Robert Flagg Ilderton, Jr. and Isabelle Irene Hall Ilderton. He served with the United States Navy.  He was a former Mason and Shriner. He was a retired Public Safety Officer with the Charleston Naval Shipyard.

He is survived by two daughters: Cathy Classen of Charleston, SC and Cheryl Tutterow of Spartanburg, SC; one brother: Robert Flagg Ilderton, III of North Charleston, SC; two sisters: Alma LaPlante of Goose Creek, SC and Jeannie Fredericks of Sacramento, CA; five grandchildren: Cassie Classen, Jacob Tutterow, Caitlyn Classen, Jeffrey Tutterow and Madison Tutterow; one great grandson: Clifford Ray Horne, II. He is predeceased by a sister Kathy Foster and a brother Norman Ilderton.
