Charles Morton Haas

Charles Morton Haas, 73, of Charleston, South Carolina, husband of Annette Vivian Feder Haas entered into eternal rest Monday, September 22, 2014. His Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, September 23, 2014 in Brith Sholom Beth Israel Cemetery "Maryville", Sycamore Avenue at 2:00 p.m. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Downtown Chapel.

Charles was born November 18, 1940 in Charleston, South Carolina, son of Edmund Haas and Sarah Altman Haas. He was a graduate of Murray Vocational High School and a Coast Guard Vietnam Veteran. Charles retired from the Charleston City Fire Department with 23 years of service. He is a member of Etiwan Lodge # 95, Scottish Rite, Elks Lodge #242 and Omar Shrine. Charles was a life long member of Brith Sholom Beth Israel Synagogue.

He is survived by his spouse, Annette Vivian Haas of Charleston, SC; daughters, Susan M. Haas (Jay Ody) of Goose Creek, SC and Marsha V. Haas of Charleston, SC; and granddog Rainy.
