Charles Lee Gaskins

Charles Lee Gaskins, 80, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, husband of Karen Herchenroeder Gaskins, entered into eternal rest Monday, April 4, 2022. His funeral service will be held Friday, April 8, 2022 in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Mt. Pleasant Chapel at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Mt. Peasant Chapel.

Lee was born March 23, 1942 in Awendaw, South Carolina, son of Lois Gaskins and Viola Williams Gaskins. He was the retired Maintenance Supervisor for Chevron Company.

Lee is survived by his wife; two daughters: Pamela Ponte and Lisa Gesling; two sisters: Carolyn Heath and Julie Ellen Cooper; brother, Russell Gaskins; grandson, Brent Gesling; two great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by five brothers: Joseph, Harold, Vester, Earl and Harry Gaskins; sister, Emma Jean Williams and granddaughter, Heather Mae Lewis.
