Charles Albert Franks of Charleston, husband of Gail Bender Franks died Sunday, July 29, 2012. A memorial service will be held Friday, August 3, 2012, in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL at 2:00 pm. The family will receive friends Friday from 1:00 until 2:00 pm at Stuhr's West Ashley Chapel. He is survived by his wife Gail Franks of Charleston; son Charles "Chuck" Albert Franks Jr. of Charleston; sisters Cynthia Mitchell, Nellie Mitchell, Mary Franks; and many nieces and nephew.
