Charles "Wayne" Edmonds, 71, of Ladson, SC, husband of Virginia "Jeanie" Bowling Edmonds died Sunday, August 19, 2012. A Funeral Service will be held on the couple's 50th wedding anniversary, Saturday, August 25, 2012 in the Miles Road Baptist Church, 816 Miles Road at 1:00 pm with a visitation starting at 11:00 am prior to the service. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL. Mr. Edmonds was born June 9, 1941 in Bluefield, WV, son of the late Charles William Edmonds and the late Nellie Belle Tucker Edmonds. He was a retired agent for US Airways and a member of Miles Road Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Virginia "Jeanie" Edmonds of Ladson, SC; son, Kevin Wayne (Christy) Edmonds of Verona, KY; daughters, Karen (Benny) Mullins of Bluffton, SC and Kerri Edmonds of Charlotte, NC; five grandchildren: Corey, Chase and Chance Edmonds and Bethany and Bennett Mullins; and sister, Jean (Eddie) Abshire of Bluefield, WV.
