Charles Luther Dicker, 69, of North Charleston, South Carolina, husband of Lois Hall Dicker went peacefully to sleep Tuesday, December 4, 2012 and awoke in the arms of Jesus. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, December 8, 2012 in the James Island Christian Church, 12 Sawgrass Road at 11:00 am. Interment, Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway.
Mr. Dicker was born September 26, 1943 in Ladson, South Carolina, son of the late Robert Lee Dicker and Ada Pearl Dutton. He was retired from Naval Engineering Facilities Command as a Computer Operator. He was a veteran with the US Army and served in the Vietnam War.
Charles is survived by his wife, Lois Hall Dicker of North Charleston, SC; a daughter, Denise Foster of Charleston, SC; son, William Dicker (Candi) of Killeen, TX; son, David Dicker (Anna) of Charleston, SC; sister, Louise Shaw of North Charleston, SC; sister, Marie Watts of TX; sister, Marguerite Jones of CA; brother, Jack Dicker (Delores) of Ladson, SC; grandchildren, Jeremy Foster (Aprille), Jeffrey Foster (Amelia), Jessica Foster (Kody), Justin Foster, Joshua Dicker (Melissa), Brandon Dicker, David Dicker Jr., and Emma Grace Dicker; great-grandsons, Chandler, and Samuel. Special friends Nicole Neuville and Randy Wright. Charles was predeceased by his sister, Elizabeth Cooler and three brothers, Robert Dicker, James Dicker and Samuel Dicker.
