Charles Alan Devoll, 50, of North Charleston, SC, died Wednesday, June 22, 2011, peacefully at home.

Born February 16, 1961 in Bellville, IL he was one of three children of Robert Bryant Devoll and the late Mary Dee Iler Devoll.  He was a former truck driver.

Mr. Devoll is survived by his father, Robert B. "Bob" Devoll of North Charleston, SC; brothers, Steven B. Devoll of North Charleston, SC and Robert L. Devoll of Goose Creek, SC; four nieces:  Traci Songer of Hanahan, SC, Jennifer Brown of Columbia, SC, Diane Devoll of Summerville, SC and Elizabeth Devoll of North Charleston, SC.

All services will be private.  Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in his name to the American Lung Association in South Carolina, 44-A Markfield Drive, Charleston, SC 29407.
