On Monday, October 22, 2018, Charles Cranston Dennis, beloved husband and amazing father left this earth too soon as a result of a fatal car accident.
Charles was born November 2, 1969, in Anderson, Indiana. He resided on Daniel Island, South Carolina with his beautiful wife and four incredible boys. Although he was a dedicated visionary and entrepreneur, the job he cherished most was being a dear husband, devoted father, son, brother, family man, fantastic friend, and soccer dad to many.
Chuck chose Theresa his lifelong girlfriend and mother to his four boys, Alex (18yrs.), Thad (16yrs.), Charlie (14yrs.) and Mattie (12yrs.). They just celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary, eating their way through Europe and watching their older sons play soccer in Italy. A few weeks ago Alex and Thad came home to celebrate their youngest brother, Mattie's 12th birthday, as their third son, Charlie, organized the party for friends and family. Their greatest treasures in life, are their four beautiful sons; family is what they cherished most.
Family and friends will remember "Chuck's" relentless energy, hard work, honesty, and his smiley grin; that is seen in Mattie. Chuck's memory will be carried on thru his four boys, Alexander, Thaddeus, Charlie, and Mattie as he poured into them to be courageous, adventurous, faithful, honest, smart, and independent men.
Chuck will be greeted by the saints who have gone before him including Robert Freman (Chuck's Stepfather), Alexander Nicholas Walgus (Theresa's Father), Charles and Martha Cassman (grandparents) and Frank and Nellie O'Donnell (grandparents).
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Theresa Marie Dennis; four sons, Alexander Nicholas Dennis, Thaddeus Michael Dennis, Charles Augustus Dennis and Mathis Cranston Dennis; father, John L. Dennis; mother, Marti Euneman and her husband Bob; sister, Jennifer Lynn Robinette and her husband Thorpe; two sister-in-laws, Brenda Jean Vistain and her husband Bradley and Lisa Ann Sladek and her husband Jerry; brother-in-law, Stephen Michael Walgus; and mother-in-law, Beverly Walgus Cantwell and her husband Gary.
A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, October 26, 2018 in Stella Maris Roman Catholic Church, 1204 Middle Street, Sullivan's Island at 11:00 am. The family will receive friends Friday, October 26, 2018 in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL from 5:00 until 7:00 pm. The Rosary will be recited at 5:00 pm
