Charles "Charlie" Fishburne Rhodes, IV

Charles "Charlie" Fishburne Rhodes, IV, 9, of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, died Tuesday, March 26, 2019. His Funeral Service will be held Sunday, March 31, 2019 in the First Baptist Church of Mt. Pleasant, 681 McCants Drive at 3:00 pm. Interment will follow in Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the First Baptist Church on Sunday from 1:45 pm until time of the service. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC. MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL.

Charlie was born July 10, 2009 in Charleston, South Carolina, son of Charles "DJ" Fishburne Rhodes, III and Frances Harrill Rhodes. He was a student at Mount Pleasant Academy. He participated in Racers for Pacers, the College of Charleston Fitcatz Program, Pattison's summer camp, Camp Rise Above and was a member of First Baptist Mount Pleasant. He enjoyed travel, boating, swimming, and watching movies. He received numerous metals for completing half marathons and local races with his father. He loved being around people the most. His laugh was contagious and his smile could light up a room.

He is survived by his parents, Charles and Frances Rhodes of Mt. Pleasant, SC; sister, Emma L. Rhodes of Mount Pleasant, SC; paternal grandmother, Kelly Lynch Rhodes of Hanahan, SC; maternal grandfather William S. Harrill of Greer, SC; paternal great-grandparents, Charles and Jo Ellen Rhodes of Yonges Island, SC and paternal great-grandfather, James Lynch of Rhome, TX. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Pamela S. Harrill and his paternal grandfather Charles "Dusty" F. Rhodes, Jr.
