Charles Beaudrot Britton

Charles Beaudrot Britton, 86, of Goose Creek, SC, husband of Valerie J. Zywicki Britton entered into eternal rest Monday, November 6, 2023. His Funeral Service will be held Friday, November 10, 2023 in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road at 2:00 pm. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, beginning at 1:00 pm. 

Charles was born May 26, 1937 in Charleston, SC, son of the late George McKenzie Britton and the late Maude (Louise) Ford Britton. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and uncle. He was a veteran of the US Marine Corps and was retired with Yellow Freight Trucking Company. 

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Valerie Britton of Goose Creek, SC; daughter, Michele B. Mitcham (Mark) of  Summerville, SC, stepson, Ricky Martin and fiancé Donna Brucia of Goose Creek, SC, grandchildren: Michael Kyle Britton (Ashley) of Atlanta, Georgia; Ian McKenzie Graham (Myra DeLeon) of Summerville, Michaela Britton Graham (Ryan Dunlap) of Charlotte, NC, Zane Alexander Graham of Goose Creek, Taylor Elaine Martin of N. Charleston and Thomas Martin of St George; Matthew Mark Mitcham of Ridgeville, SC and James Noel Mitcham, of Summerville, SC; and four great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Michael Allen Britton; sister, Dorothy Lambert; and brothers, George Britton Jr, and Eugene Cammer Britton.
