Charles Thomas Brent

Charles Thomas Brent, 86, of Goose Creek, South Carolina, husband of Dorothy Magdalint Reynolds Brent entered into eternal rest Wednesday, March 13, 2024. His Funeral Service will be held Monday, March 18, 2024 in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Northwoods Chapel at 1:00 pm.  Interment will be at Carolina Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. 

Charles was born August 7, 1937 in Merced, California, son of the late Charles William Brent and the late Esther Major Brent.  He loved shooting, boating, hunting, woodworking, fishing and shrimping.  Charles served in the United States Navy as a Master Chief Petty Officer.

In addition to his wife of 42 years, he is survived by children, Brian Brown (Donna) of Goose Creek, SC, Kevin Brown (Lisa) of Moncks Corner, SC, Charles "Billy" Brent of Plant City, FL; grandchildren, Colby William Brent, Avery Nicole Brent, Brittany Lynn Cooper (Bradley), Jamie Lynne Wyatt (George), Caitlin Renee Smith, Taylor Noel Gambill (Cole) and Carly Gail Smith; great grandchildren, Dawson, Brooklynn, Hayden, Abigail and Bethany; nephews, Charles Eugene Doppler of ND and Thomas "Tommy" Doppler of OK. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by son, Melvin Michael Brown; and sisters, Ada Wooten and Katherine Doppler.
