Charles "Charlie" Emmit Allbritton, 74, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, former President of Ok Tire Store, Inc. passed away Saturday, December 30, 2017. His memorial service will be held Monday, January 8, 2018 in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Mount Pleasant Chapel, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road at 3:00 p.m. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the chapel.

Charlie, husband of Susan Godwin Allbritton, graduated from James Island High School and attended Newberry College.

He is predeceased by his son, Hoyt Travis Allbritton; his father, Hoyt Allbritton; and his mother, Sarah Marlow Allbritton.

Charlie is survived by his daughter, Sonya Allbritton Sterling of Mt. Pleasant; his brother, Richard Allbritton of Miami, Florida; two sisters: Rebecca Allbritton Peterson of Seattle, Washington and Sara Jane Allbritton Samford of Guntersville, Alabama; three grandsons: Alex Hughes, Remington White, and Lawton Sterling; great-grandson, Lucas Hughes; and great-granddaughter Sophia Mozelle Brown.
