Chang Huyn Paek, 67, of Hanahan, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Sunday, October 23, 2016. His Funeral Service will be held Thursday, October 27, 2016 in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road at 7:00 p.m. The family will receive friends Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service in the Northwoods Chapel.

Chang was born July 19, 1949 in South Korea, son of the late Tae Yong Peak and the late Keum Rye Lee. He was a member of Charleston Korean American Association and Charleston Korean Community Church.

He is survived by his son, Doo Sung Paek of SC; two daughters: Kristin Kim of GA and Myung Sun Paek of MD; two sisters: Chuncha Walker of SC and Yunja Hewes of SC; four brothers: Sung Hyun Paek of Korea, Jung Hyung Paek of GA, Jin Hyun Paek of GA and Yong Hyun Paek of GA; four grandsons: Tristan Paek, Eian Paek, Joshua Kim and Nathan Kim; four granddaughters: Jane Kim, Lisa Kim, Elisha Paek and Sarah Kim.
