"Chad" Ronald Perry Chadwick Griffin

"Chad" Ronald Perry Chadwick Griffin, a lifelong resident of Charleston, South Carolina, found peace on Tuesday, April 25, 2023. His family and friends will gather to celebrate his life and honor his memory at a funeral service on Sunday, April 30, 2023 at 5:00 p.m., at the J. Henry Stuhr West Ashley Chapel. Prior to the service, the family will receive friends beginning at 4:00 pm.

Chad was born on January 7, 1985, in Charleston, South Carolina, to Meredith McKeithan Griffin and the late Ronald Harvey Griffin. He is survived by his mother, his brothers Keith, Chase, and Alex and his children McKenzie, Presley, and Perry. Chad was preceded in death by his grandfather, Perry McKeithan. 

A loving father, Chad's children were the joy of his life. He was a caring friend, brother and son who will be remembered for his sense of humor and his gift for making others laugh. A talented artist who grew up skateboarding and surfing at Folly Beach, Chad was passionate about animals and especially loved pit bulls. A skilled high voltage electrician and licensed journeyman, he was a jack-of-all-trades. To know Chad was to love him, and he will be deeply missed by all.
