Cecilia Davis Smith

Cecilia Smith, 73, of Charleston, South Carolina, wife of Oscar D. "Wayne" Smith went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Tuesday night, December 31, 2019. The family will receive friends Monday, January 6, 2020 in J. Henry Stuhr Inc., West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Her Funeral Service will follow at the Graveside in Live Oak Memorial Gardens, 3093 Ashley River Road at 11:30 a.m.

Cecilia was born on November 2, 1946 in Newport News, Virginia, to William Fontaine "Johnny" Davis and Arlene Goodson Davis.She is survived by her husband and their eight children: Daymon Smith, Dwayne Smith (Kayla), Stephanie Wagner (Arnold), Kim Goodrich (Delaney), Nathan Smith (Angela), Natalie Smith (Alan), Elizabeth Smith, and Jeremy Smith; fifteen grandchildren: Bessie Matthews, Caylee Mizzell-Smith, Steven Smith, Marquis Brown, Austin Goodrich, Dale Smith, Alexis Goodrich, Makaila Brown, Cheyenne Smith, Marie Smith, Benjamin Wagner, Caleb Wagner, Skye Smith, Taylor Thomas, and Christian Smith; four great-grandchildren; a brother, John W. Davis; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and grandson, Aidin Goodrich.
