Cecilia Baerwolf

Cecilia Baerwolf, 92, of Halethorpe, MD, formerly of North Charleston, SC, died Saturday, April 23, 2016. Her funeral service will be held Saturday, April 30, 2016 in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road at 11:00 am. Entombment will follow in Carolina Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in Stuhr's Northwoods Chapel.

Cecilia was born May 6, 1923 in Ironwood, MI, one of thirteen children of the late John Claussen and the late Mable Schroeder Claussen. She received her associate degree from Trident Technical College and enjoyed gardening.

She is survived by two daughters, Linda Ecker and Theresa Mercer; son, Michael Thomas; six grandchildren: Ryan, Lynsey, Johnnie, Marion, Jennifer and A. Michelle; four great-grandchildren; three brothers, Rudy Claussen, Raymond Claussen and Eddie Claussen; two sisters, Viola "Vicky" Meier and Billie Jean Bacon. She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Louie A. Baerwolf; sons, Robert Thomas and Patrick Thomas; daughter, Paula Thomas; and one grandchild, Suzanne Thomas.
