Cecil Wayne Benton

Cecil Wayne "C.W." Benton, 61, of Charleston, SC passed away on Thursday, May 5, 2011.  The relatives and friends of Wayne "C.W." Benton are invited to his Memorial Service on Saturday, May 7, 2011 in J. HENRY STUHR MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL at 12:00 noon. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends at the Mount Pleasant Chapel from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.

 "C.W." was born on February 20, 1950 in Charleston, South Carolina, son of the late Harry Cecil Benton and Irene Skipper Benton. He retired form the Charleston Naval Shipyard as a Boilermaker. He is survived by his son, Jason Benton and his wife, Becky of Mt. Pleasant, SC; one grandson, Jonas Benton and one granddaughter, Jillian Benton both of Mt. Pleasant, SC; and one brother, Derryl Benton of Hanahan, SC.
