Cecelia Hall Dunleavy, 51, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, wife of George J. Dunleavy died Saturday, October 6, 2012. The relatives and friends of Cecelia Dunleavy are invited to attend her Memorial Service on Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at the Mount Pleasant Presbyterian Church, 302 Hibben Street, Mt. Pleasant at 4:00 pm. A Celebration of Life will follow at 5:30 PM at the Isle of Palms Exchange Club, 201 Palm Blvd, Isle of Palms. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC. MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL.
Cecelia was born February 24, 1961 in Newark, Ohio, daughter of the late Andrew Earl Hall and Cecelia Schor Hall. She was a graduate of Laurens District 55 High School, Laurens, SC, and Erskine College, where she earned a B.S. in Biology. She received a Masters of Education degree at The Citadel. Cecelia was a mathematics teacher at Moultrie Middle School, and was involved in coaching and playing softball, volleyball, soccer and basketball. She was a member of Mount Pleasant Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by her husband, George J. Dunleavy of Mount Pleasant, SC; her sisters, Stacy Hall of Missoula, MT, Andrea Hill and her husband Robbie of Laurens, SC, and Nancy Gautier and her husband Brou of Springfield, VA; three step-children; six nephews, two great-nephews, and one great-niece.
