Cathy M. Huckabee Pace

Cathy M. Huckabee Pace, 66, of North Charleston, entered into eternal rest Thursday, September 12, 2024, at a local hospital. Her Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, September 18, 2024 in the Friendship Baptist Church, 5032 Lackawanna Boulevard, North Charleston at 3:30 pm. The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 17, 2024 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm in J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Northwoods Chapel. 

Cathy is survived by her parents; Ruth and Alfred "Spider" Huckabee of North Charleston; a sister, Terri Weeden of North Charleston; her daughter, Angel Freeman (Terence); her son, Fredrick Rourk, Jr.; her only nephew, Timothy Weeden, Jr. (Shannon); her grandchildren, Kayla Gantt, Peyton Rourk, Parker Rourk and Torence Freeman and many cousins and friends. Cathy is preceded in death by her partner of 22 years, James Besley, her grandparents, Robert and Lizzy Huckabee, George and Etta Ridgeway and her beloved cat "TJ".

Cathy was a long time member of Friendship Baptist Church and attended Chicora High School. She had a love for Dr. Pepper, bingo, horror movies and CHOCOLATE! Her favorites were M&M's, Hershey bars and Chocolate covered strawberries. Cathy was also a "Die Hard Cowboys Fan".
