Catherine Bowick Stuart

Catherine Bowick Stuart, 90, of Goose Creek, SC, died Sunday, January 27, 2013. A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, January 30, 2013 in the J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road at 2:00 pm. Interment, Riverview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 29, 2013 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm in Stuhr's Northwoods Chapel.

She was born April 24,1922 in Charleston, SC, one of seven children of the late Travis Sinclair Bowick and the late Catherine Louise Barwick Bowick. She was a retired Seamstress at Manhattan Shirt Factory and a member of Tall Pines Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughters, Joyce Hutto and her husband J.W. of Goose Creek, SC, Mildred Crocker and her husband Dale of Augusta, GA and Donna Hardison and Kevin Moon of Goose Creek, SC; sons, Lawrence A. Stuart and his wife Sandy of Knightsville, SC and Daryl Lee Stuart and his wife Sandy of Goose Creek, SC; 17 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands: Joseph Harry Stuart, Sr., Harry Linford Collins and Elbert Keith Judy; and a son, Joseph Stuart, Jr. in 2007.
