Catherine Helen Amorose Malecky, 102, of Charleston, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Monday, July 10, 2023. Her graveside service will be held Friday, July 14, 2023 in the Mt. Pleasant Memorial Gardens, 1308 Mathis Ferry Road at 3:00 pm.  The family will receive friends Friday before the service from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm in J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Mount Pleasant Chapel, 1494 Mathis Ferry Rd. 

Catherine was born April 28, 1921 in New York, New York, daughter of the late Michael Amorose and the late Magdalina Suzdak Amorose. She was a wonderful homemaker and will be remembered for the way she loved her family.   

She is survived by her children, Jimmy Malecky (Kim) of Charleston, SC, Dr. Patty Malecky Campbell (Ron) of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Lori  Booze (Scotty) of Charleston, SC; six grandchildren, Aiden Malecky, Tina Byers, Robert Campbell, Lauren Campbell, Rachel Malecky, and Hannah Booze; and three great-grandchildren, Campbell Byers, Jonathan Byers, Catherine Amarose Campbell; . She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Frederick Malecky.
