Catherine "Cathy" Lynch Hochmal, 87, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, wife of the late Anton William Richard Hochmal died Tuesday, January 29, 2013. The relatives and friends of Catherine Hochmal are invited to attend her Memorial Service on Saturday, February 2, 2013 in J. HENRY STUHR, INC. MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL at 11:00 am.

Catherine was born on February 10, 1925 in New York, New York, daughter of the late Edward and Elizabeth Lynch. She was a homemaker and one of the matriarchs of a beloved extended family. She is survived by her two daughters, Claudia (Pete) McKellar of Mount Pleasant, SC and Cathy (Danny) Cizek of James Island, SC; one brother, Edward (Carleen) Lynch of Tampa, FL; two grandchildren, Joel McKellar of Cambridge, MA and Amanda Andre of James Island, SC; three step-grandchildren, Gretchen Penney of Charleston, SC, Shawn Charlow of Charleston, SC and Peter McKellar, IV of Mt. Pleasant, SC; one great grandson, Michael Colon, eight step-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
