Entered into eternal rest Friday, January 21, 2011, Catherine Strother Hayward, widow of Richard Warren Hayward. Residence, Ladson, SC.  The relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral services in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL, Wednesday, January 26^th, 2011 at 11:00 am.  Interment, Magnolia Cemetery. Friends may call at Stuhr's Downtown Chapel Tuesday between 5:00 and 7:00 pm. 

Mrs. Hayward was born March 16, 1926 in Bishopville, SC, the daughter of David Strother and Floy Watkins Strother. She retired from the County School System.  She was a member of The Church of The Good Shepherd.

She is survived by two daughters: Lenora G. McBride of Clarksville, TN and Catherine H. MacNeal of Mt. Pleasant, SC; one son: Danny Warren Hayward of Ladson, SC; one sister: Christina (Charles) Henry of Cayce, SC; 6 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and 3 great- great grandchildren.
