Catherine Newcomb Broom, 60, of Rock Hill, SC, wife of Ronald Eugene Broom entered into eternal rest Monday, July 6, 2015. Her graveside service will be held Friday, July 10, 2015 in Carolina Memorial Park, 7113 Rivers Avenue at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends Friday from noon until 1:30 p.m. in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road, N. Charleston.

Catherine was born November 13, 1954 in Roxboro, NC, daughter of the late Wesley D. Newcomb and Margaret Rudd Newcomb. She was a retired Insurance Underwriter.

Catherine is survived by her husband of 35 years; two daughters, Ashley Broom and Amy Stowe both of Rock Hill, SC; son, Brian Barnes (Evonne) of Silver Spring, MD; two brothers, John Douglas Newcomb of CA and Bo Newcomb of Charleston, SC; and four grandchildren: Challen Stowe, Leo Stowe, Khloe Cloninger and Tyler Barnes.
