Catharine Ann Kennedy

Cathy Kennedy of Goose Creek, South Carolina passed away Wednesday, November 26, 2014. The family will receive family and friends Sunday, November 30, 2014, at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL from 3-4 pm. Memorial service will immediately follow.

Cathy was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada on April 24, 1934, daughter of the late Kenneth Paul Wilson and Margaret Marie Fasken Wilson. She is survived by sons, Roy V. Kennedy, David W. and wife, Donna W., Kennedy, John W. Kennedy, Brian P. and Teresa K. Kennedy and daughter, Susan L. Kennedy, all of Goose Creek, SC. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, her sister, Peggy Jackson of Toronto, and her brother, Doug Wilson of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. She was predeceased by her daughter, Dianne E. Kennedy, and daughter-in-law, Sandra Tucker Kennedy.

Cathy retired from Dillard's Department Store after over twenty years of employment. She enjoyed spending time at the beach and preparing dinner with her family. She also was an avid lover of all animals.

Mrs. Kennedy was surrounded by her family when she passed. Though gone, she will not be forgotten by all the lives she touched. She will be laid to rest with her parents at a family cemetery in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made in her name to Charleston Animal Society.
