Cassidy Cheryl-Lynn Tallent

Cassidy Cheryl-Lynn Tallent, 11, of Johns Island, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Thursday, April 18, 2013. A Funeral Service will be held Monday, April 22, 2013 in the First Baptist Church of Charleston, 48 Meeting Street at 2:30 pm. Interment, Live Oak Memorial Gardens, 3093 Ashley River Road. The family will receive friends Sunday from 5:00 until 8:00 pm in J.HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway.

Cassidy was born June 13, 2001 in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of Richard Scott Tallent and Sherrie Bishop Tallent. She was a member of First Assembly of God, West Ashley and First Baptist Church where she attended First Baptist School as a 5th Grader. She was a member of the First Baptist Basketball Team, LowCountry Little League Softball and The Breeze Travel Softball Team. Cassidy loved fishing, boating, four wheeling, and her favorite activity was following her sister everywhere.

She is survived by her parents of Johns Island, Scott and Sherrie Bishop Tallent; sister, Kayla Suzanne Lane Tallent and fiance Daniel Hatchell; paternal grandmother, Helen Sue Tallent, maternal grandparents, Clarence and Cheryl Bishop; maternal great-grandmother, Delores Moore of Johns Island; aunts and uncles, Thaddeus and Ashley Tallent of Johns Island, Tammy and David Bazzle of Rockville, Traci and Jimmy Smith of Johns Island, Amy Tallent of Crouse, NC, Jamie Bishop of Johns Island, Cresta and Chris Berry of Johns Island, Candice Bishop of Summerville, Traci and Ryan Trott of Goose Creek, and 20 special, loved first cousins with whom she enjoyed all outdoor activities. Cassidy was preceded in death by her PaPaw, Max C. Tallent and Uncle, Tony K. Tallent.
