Carson Layfette Willis, 74, of Aiken, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, following a period of declining health. His Funeral Service will be held Monday, November 24, 2025 in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 11:00 am. The family will receive friends Monday, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Live Oak Memorial Gardens.

Born on July 4, 1951, in Charleston, he was the son of the late Thomas Carson Willis and Eula Lee Crosby.

Carson was a talented craftsman; he was known for his skill in woodworking and for the care he put into every project.

He was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and cherished his faith throughout his life.

Carson is survived by his son, Aaron Carson Willis of Chattanooga, Tennessee; sisters Patricia Willis Graham and Tommie Willis Provost; and half-brother Ralph Willis. He was preceded in death by his sisters Dianne and Jean.

His legacy lives on in the things he built, the people he uplifted, and the love he shared throughout his life. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
