Carrie Elizabeth Gillam

Elizabeth Gregory Gillam, 74, of Charleston, South Carolina, widow of Kenneth Joseph Gillam entered into eternal rest Saturday, March 22, 2014. Her Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, March 25, 2014, in Charleston Baptist Church, 13 San Miguel Road at 11:00 am. Burial Services will follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Monday, March 24, 2014 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Lib was born December 4, 1939 in Chatsworth, Georgia, the daughter of Inez Welch Gregory and the late Seth Henley Gregory, Sr. She was a retired nurse with St. Francis Hospital.

She is survived by her mother of Atlanta, GA; three sons, Kenneth Joseph Gillam Jr.(Cindy) of Atlanta, GA, David Allen Gillam Ph.D. (Cynthia) of Seattle, WA, Joseph Gregory Gillam (Kristina) of Charleston, SC; sister, Ava Kemp; seven brothers, Seth Gregory, Dawn Gregory, David Gregory, Bill Gregory, Jim Gregory, Bruce Gregory, Tom Gregory all of Atlanta, GA; eight grandchildren Kayla Gillam, Karlie Gillam, Joshua Gillam, Jonathan Gillam, Carolina Gillam, Gregory Gillam, Callie Gillam, Patrick Gillam, numerous nieces and nephews. Lib was predeceased by her brother Cleve Gregory.
