Carolyne M. Sharpe

Carolyne M. Sharpe, 72, of Lebanon, CT, wife of Oliver Cromwell Sharpe, Jr. died Saturday, December 29, 2012. The relatives and friends of Carolyne Sharpe are invited to attend a Celebration of Her Life Service on Monday, December 31, 2012 in the J. HENRY STUHR MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road, at 2:00 pm. The family will receive friends at the Chapel one hour prior to the service. A Funeral Mass and burial will be held in Lebanon, CT.

Mrs. Sharpe was born July 3, 1940 in Hartford, Connecticut, daughter of the late Joseph Enar Montstream and Georgianna Faucher Montstream. After 35 years of teaching she retired from Sayles Elementary School in Baltic, CT.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years; her daughter, Dorothy Wirth; her brother, Edward Montstream and his wife Claire; four grandchildren, Dionna Ebeling and her husband David; Randy Wirth, Jr. and his wife Amelia; Tanya Kirvin and her husband Timmy; and Jamie Finley and her husband Cory; eleven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Henry Randy Wirth, Sr.; her sister, Arlene Harris; and her nephews, Paul Coddere and David Harris.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Christ Our King Catholic Church, 1149 Russell Drive, Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464.
