Carolyn Rey Gabrielli Wright

Carolyn Rey Gabrielli Wright, 62, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, wife of Everett Wright passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2015. Her Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, January 23, 2015 in the J. HENRY STUHR, INC. MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road. Interment in Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, January 23, 2015 from 1:00 pm until the time of the service.

Carolyn was born November 9, 1952 in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of the late Gene Gabrielli and Cecelia Guyton Gabrielli. She attended Clemson University and was a Real Estate Agent in the Charleston area. She previously served as the President of the Rocky Mount Realtors Association in Rocky Mount, NC. Carolyn attended Journey Baptist Church in North Charleston. She encouraged others through serving as an organ transplant mentor to organ transplant recipients.

She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Everett Wright; her sons, Michael Wright and his wife, Pamala of Goose Creek, SC, and Lewis Wright and his wife, Suzy of Charlotte, NC; her grandchildren, Sam, Anna, John Michael, and Anderson; her step-mother, Betty Gabrielli of Summerville, SC; her brothers, David Gabrielli of Summerville, SC and Chris Gabrielli of Walterboro, SC; her sisters, Marilyn Lowndes of Charleston, SC and Cheryl English of Walterboro, SC; her brother-in-law, John Wright of Charleston, SC; and her sister-in-law, Dee Bee Wright of Charleston, SC.
