Carolyn Miller Tyrrell, 83, of Charleston, South Carolina, widow of Thomas Edward Tyrrell, Sr. entered into eternal rest Tuesday, February 6, 2018. Her Funeral Service will be held Saturday, February 10, 2018 in Epworth United Methodist Church at 1:30 p.m. Interment, Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Downtown Chapel.

Carolyn was born May 12, 1934 in Charleston, SC, daughter of the late Milo Miller and Mary Etta Ricks Miller. She was a longtime member of Epworth United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir.

Carolyn is survived by her daughter, Grace Tyrrell Griffin (William) of Beaufort, NC; son, Thomas Edward Tyrrell, Jr. of Avondale, PA; sister, JoAnn M. Sawyer of Lakeland, FL; four granddaughters: Keri Griffin Cunningham (Mark), Dana Griffin Merrill, Rebecca Sue Tyrrell, and Rachel Lynne Robey (Christopher); and five great-grandchildren: Hunter, Brogan, Mikayla, Arilyn, and Raiden.

She was predeceased by her daughter, Kimberly Ann Tyrrell.
