Carolyn Bradshaw Travis

It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of Carolyn Bradshaw Travis at the age of 90. Carolyn passed peacefully to her eternal home with her loving daughter by her side.

She was born in Rome, Georgia in 1934, the daughter of Henry Grady Bradshaw and Carrie Lucile Selvidge Bradshaw. She moved to Marietta, Georgia in 1962 where she raised her family. Carolyn was an avid reader with a great sense of humor who never met a stranger. She was a lifelong member of the Methodist Church. Carolyn had a beautiful soul and will be deeply missed by her family, rescue dog, Bon Bon and rescue cats. 

Carolyn was preceded in death by her daughter, Lori.

She is survived by her daughter, Janet; her son, Michael; her sister Jo; her 3 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 29, 2024, from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway, Charleston, South Carolina. 

A Graveside Service will be held Sunday, December 29, 2024, at 12:00 pm, at the Magnolia Cemetery, Charleston South Carolina. 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to ASPCA in honor of Carolyn.
