Carolyn "Toddy" Henderson McCarthy

Carolyn "Toddy" Henderson McCarthy, 79, of Charleston, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Sunday, October 15, 2017. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Sunday, October 22, 2017 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 4:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service.

Toddy was born December 9, 1937 in Spartanburg, SC, daughter of the late John Albert Henderson and Floy Mae Lewis Henderson. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Toddy prayed for her family every day. She loved cooking and corn dogs.

She is survived by her daughter, Cheri Keller Fernandes of Charleston, SC; four grandchildren, Jason Keller of Charleston, Wesley Keller (Lindsey) of Spartanburg, SC, Matthew Keller (Jessica) of Atlanta, GA, Joshua Keller (Cayton) of Charleston, SC; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Barbara Jean Henderson, and Betty Ruth Beaty both of Spartanburg, SC. She is preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
