Carolyn Carr Sandefur, 82, of Summerville, South Carolina, widow of Charles William Sandefur, Sr. entered into eternal rest Tuesday, September 21, 2021. Her Funeral Service will be held Friday, September 24, 2021 in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road at 11:00 am. The family will receive friends Friday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Dorchester Memory Gardens, 11000 Dorchester Rd. in Summerville. Please wear a mask and observe social distancing.

Carolyn was born April 3, 1939 in Jewel, Georgia, daughter of the late George Crawford Carr and Sara DeMedici. She was a homemaker and was known for her deep love for her family.

She is survived by two daughters, Jan Mackinem and her husband Tim, and Laura Morga; two sons, Thomas Sandefur and John Sandefur and his wife, Carol; one brother, George C. Carr, Jr; 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and one son, Charles William Sandefur, Jr.
