Carolyn Annette Zeigler Roberts

Carolyn Annette Zeigler Roberts, 87, of Mt. Pleasant, SC passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2011.  The relatives and friends of Carolyn Annette Roberts are invited to attend her Graveside Service on Friday, July 8, 2011 in Magnolia Cemetery, at 2:00 p.m. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL. Mrs. Roberts was born on September 13, 1923 in Asheville, North Carolina, daughter of the late John Dalton Zeigler and Florence Hanes Zeigler.  She graduated from Memminger High School in 1940 and married Eugene Edgar Roberts, Jr. She worked along side her husband in his business, Roberts Supply Company.  She was active with Charleston Animal Society, formerly the John Ancrum SPCA, for twenty five years.  She was a board member for twenty two years and served as president for three years. She is survived by her two sons, Eugene Edgar Roberts, III and John Randel Roberts, both of Mt. Pleasant, SC; eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the Charleston Animal Society, 2455 Remount Road, North Charleston, SC  29406.
