Carolyn Lee Shook Peagler

Carolyn Lee Shook Peagler, 81, of Lincolnville, South Carolina, widow of Harold George Peagler, Sr., entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, November 1, 2023. Her funeral service will be held Monday, November 6, 2023 in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road at 5:00 pm. The family will receive friends beginning one hour prior to the service.

Carolyn was born March 17, 1942 in Glen Alpine, North Carolina, daughter of the late JC Shook and Ruth Duckworth Jordan. She was a lover of the great outdoors who enjoyed fishing and going to fish camp, her birds and her flowers. Carolyn also loved watching the Atlanta Braves and the Carolina Gamecocks.

She is survived by her children: Carol Jean Peagler Walters (Brian) of Eutawville, SC; Harold G. Peagler, Jr. (Victoria) of N. Charleston, SC; Bucky Ackerman (Jenna) of Cottageville, SC and Lisa Karle (Ricky); grandchildren: Dustin, Brandon (Chelsea), Bradly (Natalie), Brooklyn, Caylee, Chelsea Singletary, Bentley, Payton, Carson, Nicole (Kristian), Christianne, Payton (Lucas), Quinton, Morgan, and Bryce; great-grandchildren: Kingston, Everleigh, Jayde, Ellie Mae, Addison, Trent, Penny, Jackson; siblings: Joe Brown Shook of Morganton, NC, Wanda Berry (Earl) of Rutherford College, NC; and significant other, Marvin Ackerman of Lincolnville, SC.
